Confident and self-assured, students reach out to lend a helping hand where there is a need.
This sensitivity, a part of the student's bearing, is moulded through social reach out programmes involving orphanages, old age homes and near by villages.
The Nature Club
The Nature Club of Bhavans Gandhi Vidyashram is committed to sensitizing its students on issues relating to environment and environmental degradation. It encourages its members to be pro-active towards sustainable developments in their given milieu. The club activities include campus cleaning, conducting field trip activities, tree plantation campaigns and adventure activities like trekking and identifying various trees in the campus.
Bird watching club:
Birding has been described as a “ lifelong treasure hunt” which can take you to exotic, far-away places, or help you find special birds in your own backyard. To foster love for nature and to encourage students to pay attention to the world outside, Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram started the Bird Watching Club two years back.
Interact club of Bhavan’s Gandhi Vidyashram is very active and involves itself in meaningful service projects. Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others. Members of the club help to develop and carry out a wide variety of service projects, including providing educational and medical aid to the poor and needy students and their families.
